What is home? A place? A familiar smell, a colour of light, a language that evokes memories? Does it embody longing for something that can only be felt in the heart or perhaps never existed?

This exhibition brings together personal perspectives of 10 photographers living in Munich in a dialogue that leaves room for questions: an invitation to reflect, to trace and to form your own image of home. Curated by Thomas Mandl and Gabriele Eder.

These works have not been published before and reveal a more intimate side to Nina's work. As in all her photographs, the focus is on atmosphere and the sensory perception of her surroundings – in this case, in relation to two different forms of attachment and home: that to her mother and that to her partner.
